Job summary

Lotus's Malaysia is seeking a Buying Executive (Non Halal Section) to support the buying team, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure accurate product and pricing operations. This role offers fresh graduates hands-on experience in procurement, vendor management, and retail operations.

You will assist with daily purchasing tasks, prepare reports, price checks, and respond to supplier inquiries while maintaining data integrity and meeting business goals in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reports and presentations.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia, English and Chinese.
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a passion for retail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers on non halal new product listings, promotional pricing, and other buying-related matters.
• Provide accurate product, cost, and supplier data to the Central IM Support Team to maintain data integrity.
• Ensure barcode and item information is correctly updated by liaising with buyers and suppliers.
• Respond promptly and professionally to supplier queries, delivering excellent service.
• Offer general administrative support to help the buying team achieve business goals.
