Job summary

Poh Kong Jewellery Manufacturer Sdn Bhd is seeking a Business System Executive in the IT Department to analyze, design, develop, and maintain in-house software aligned with SOPs. You will collaborate with internal users and departments to gather requirements and deliver effective system solutions.

You will maintain and enhance legacy systems, develop new features, perform system testing and user support, and assist with database management and documentation.

Qualifications

• Candidates with a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field are preferred.
• Possess a strong foundation in programming, logical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with MS SQL Database, MS Visual FoxPro, Python, and Windows-based application development will be an added advantage.
• Able to understand business processes, operational workflows, and company-specific standard operating procedures (SOPs), and translate them into practical and effective software solutions.
• Minimum with 2 years of working experience in the similar field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, and maintain in-house software applications in accordance with company requirements, business processes, and SOPs.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing and legacy systems by reviewing code, identifying bugs or outdated logic, and implementing necessary improvements or replacements.

• Conduct system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure software quality, stability, performance, and reliability.
• Provide application support to end-users and assist with database management, technical documentation, and other IT-related tasks as required.
