Job summary

Carro is seeking a Business Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, performance, and growth of our hire purchase financing product in Malaysia. You will manage the full lifecycle from development to execution and work with dealers to meet evolving market needs.

You will prepare insights dashboards, present updates to management, collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and operations, and drive risk management.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Diploma/Degree in any discipline.
• Candidate must possess their own transport.
• Must be able to work independently and under pressure to deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of the hire purchase financing product.
• Identify enhancements to meet dealer needs and improve market competitiveness.
• Prepare regular reports and dashboards on product performance, dealer feedback, and market trends.
• Present performance updates to management with actionable recommendations.
• Assist in risk management including credit assessments and monitoring overdue accounts.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance and operations to optimize the offering and customer experience.
• Train internal teams on product features, benefits and processes.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to keep the product relevant.
• Suggest innovative features based on market demand and dealer feedback.

About your role

Oversee the full lifecycle of the hire purchase financing product, from development to execution.

Identify and implement enhancements to the product to meet changing dealer needs and improve market competitiveness.

Prepare regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into product performance, dealer feedback, and market trends.

Present performance updates to management and provide actionable recommendations for improvements.

Assist in the implementation of risk management strategies, including credit assessments, monitoring overdue accounts, and mitigating risks related to defaults.

Collaborate with internal departments, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to optimize the product offering and improve the customer experience.

Train and guide internal teams on product features, benefits, and processes.

Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to keep the product relevant and competitive.

Suggest innovative solutions or new features based on market demands and dealer feedback.
