Comet Technologies Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist for our Penang site. You will develop and enhance BI dashboards and analytics solutions, serving as Product Owner for Finance Data products and collaborating with finance, controlling and data teams to drive data-driven insights.

You will bring 5+ years of BI/Data Analytics experience in a multinational environment, plus strong skills in Power BI, Power Query, Databricks, and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in BI, Data Analytics, or a similar role, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong technical expertise in Power BI, Power Query, Databricks (SQL/Python), and ERP systems such as SAP.
• Solid understanding of financial reporting, data modeling, analytics, and project management principles.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently in a multicultural environment and business-fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Product Owner for Finance Data & Analytics products, managing requirements and roadmap initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance, Group Controlling, and Data teams to build data solutions using Databricks, SAP, and other data sources.
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses, automate reporting processes, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Create user documentation, provide training and support to key users, and drive continuous improvement through data analytics and change management.

What You Will Do
