Job summary

INSPUR COMMUNICATION MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. seeks a proactive Commercial Operations professional to manage end-to-end IDC projects in Malaysia, engaging clients, analyzing requirements, preparing proposals and budgeting costs.

The role emphasizes Chinese language proficiency for system operations, English communication with stakeholders, and strong negotiation and risk-awareness skills. Local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, International Trade, Computer Science or related fields.
• Fluent in Chinese reading & writing for system operation; proficient in English for daily stakeholder communication.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IDC, cloud computing or IT infrastructure commercial/pre-sales roles; local Malaysia project experience is a strong advantage.
• Solid knowledge of overseas project commercial processes, tendering, contract management and cost budgeting with proficient document writing skills.
• Good business acumen, negotiation skills and risk awareness, familiar with Malaysia local travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle commercial operations for Malaysia data center projects, covering client engagement, requirement analysis, quotation, contract negotiation, finalization and payment collection.
• Prepare commercial proposals, tender documents, BOM and cost estimation; collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to validate project solutions and drive successful project delivery.
• Nurture and maintain relationships with local clients and industry partners, identify new business opportunities for IDC hosting, cloud infrastructure and data center services to expand local market presence.
• Independently handle internal workflows including project initiation, order registration, contract filing and document approval via the company’s Chinese business system.
• Align with technical, engineering and supply chain teams to monitor project progress, mitigate commercial risks and resolve on-site operational issues timely.
• Conduct market research on local IDC trends, competitor activities and industry policies, and submit regular market analysis reports.
• Ad-hoc commercial and administrative tasks assigned by the management team.

Job Requirements
