Job summary

CEVA Malaysia (Air & Ocean) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Business Development Support based in Johor Bahru to translate customer needs into actionable delivery plans and to support the Outside Sales team.

You will identify new opportunities, manage accounts from prospection to quotation, and deliver compelling demonstrations to win business. The role emphasizes CRM accuracy, proactive outreach, and collaboration with Sales and Operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in sales support activities in air and/or sea freight forwarding industry.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Source new opportunities through CRM, inbound leads, outbound calls and emails.
• Qualify opportunities, research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest.
• Manage portfolios from prospection to quotation requests; coordinate with sales and operations.
• Provide effective online group presentations and product demos to prospects/customers.
• Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
• Capture accurate CRM data and maintain/expand the prospects database.
• Analyze performance/KPIs and achieve monthly objectives.

Job Summary

Supports Outside Sales and translate customer needs into execution process and acts as the bridge between sales and operation teams.

Responsibilities

a) Source new opportunities

Under the direction of Country objectives identify new sales opportunities through: Untapped and specifically Inactive Clients from CRM, inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls and emails

Tele-prospection and follow up (Follow strategic approaches from HFO and/or Branch manager).

Qualify new opportunities, research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.

Understand customer needs and requirements.

b) Manage account from prospection stage to quotation request

Manage portfolios of designated accounts and provide new products and services.

Follow up on Inactive accounts, target reasons of departure and promote group offers.

Provide effective online group presentation and product demos to prospect/customers.

Achieve monthly objectives on qualified opportunities generated.

Ensure quotations requests are transferred upon reception to Customer Sales Support.

Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.

Capture accurate and complete information in Customer Relationship Management system (CRM).

Maintain and expand prospects database within your assigned territory.

Provide sales leads to the network.

Analyze Performance/ KPI’s.

Requirements
