Omni-Health Pte Ltd. is seeking a results-driven Business Development Specialist to drive digital healthcare solutions in Malaysia's northern region.
You will own the full sales cycle—from lead identification to contract closure—within a growing team and receive direct access to leadership. With 3–4 years of B2B SaaS/healthcare solutions sales, you’ll build a pipeline, demonstrate value, and tailor proposals.
2% commission on sales made + additional annual target incentives.
Transport allowance, medical coverage, and monthly connectivity allowance.
Product training and support from regional teams and manufacturers.
Autonomy to help establish our Penang presence and contribute to significant growth plans over the next 18-24 months.
Future opportunity to grow into a manager-level role.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on B2B solution sales role for someone who can build pipeline, open doors, present complex solutions clearly, and close deals. You do not need healthcare experience - we can train the product knowledge - but you must bring strong solution-selling ability, commercial discipline, and the confidence to grow a territory independently.
We're looking for a Business Development Specialist to drive growth across our solution portfolio in Malaysia's northern region. You'll own the full sales cycle - from identifying opportunities in healthcare institutions through to closing deals - while working alongside product, operations, and technical teams across the region.
This is a solo contributor role within an established and growing team. As Omni-Health's first recruited role in Penang, you will have real autonomy, direct access to leadership, and the opportunity to help shape the company’s presence in the northern Malaysia market as we support significant growth plans over the next 18-24 months. If you're energised by consultative selling, healthcare technology, and building something meaningful, this is the role.
What You'll Do
Drive pharmacy automation sales in Malaysia's northern region, meeting or exceeding annual revenue targets.
Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across hospitals, clinics, and healthcare institutions - managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company growth objectives.
Present and demonstrate solutions to clinical, procurement, and executive-level audiences, translating technical capabilities into clear business value.
Prepare and deliver professional proposals, quotations, and tender submissions, including participation in government procurement processes.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
Work collaboratively with internal teams (product, operations, technical) to tailor solutions and ensure smooth handover from sale to delivery.
Maintain accurate CRM records of pipeline, sales activities, and forecasts, and provide regular updates to the Country Manager.
Analyse the competitive landscape and market trends to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
Represent Omni-Health at industry events, exhibitions, and client demonstrations.
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Business, Engineering, IT, Biomedical, Healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
Proven ability to prospect, build pipeline, present solutions, negotiate commercially, and close deals independently.
3-4 years of B2B solution sales experience, ideally selling complex products or services into business, healthcare, technology, equipment, software, industrial automation, or other technical environments.
Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills - comfortable engaging clinical staff, procurement teams, and senior management.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written) for internal communication, reporting, and documentation.
Proficient with CRM tools and comfortable managing multiple concurrent opportunities.
Comfortable using AI and digital productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) to support research, proposal development, and sales planning.
Willingness to travel domestically as required, with a valid driving licence and own transport.
Nice-to-have (ideal, not required):
Experience selling into hospitals, clinics, or healthcare institutions.
Experience with Malaysian government tender portals and procurement processes.
Knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication management, or healthcare technology.
Experience with Salesforce CRM.
