This role is primarily responsible for following through on the company's existing and newly introduced business opportunities, clients, and partners — handling ongoing communication, deal progression, business negotiation, and relationship management.
This position will be involved in A3SEO, the AI Vision Forum, and other related company projects, and will work with partners across AI, Cloud, SEO, technology services, and related industries.
The focus of this role is not large-scale cold outreach, but rather continuing to advance clients, partnership resources, and potential opportunities the company has already secured — following through from initial contact and proposal, through negotiation, to closing the deal.
This is a full-time hire based in Kuala Lumpur, and the role requires frequent/extended travel.
Salary Range : RM4000-RM6000 depending on experience.
II. Job Responsibilities
A. Forum Sponsorship & Cloud Partners
- Liaise with cloud and technology partners such as Google Cloud, Tencent Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud, BytePlus, Cloudflare, OceanBase, Oracle, and Azure to advance sponsorships, resource exchanges, and strategic partnerships.
- Drive the AI Vision Forum sponsorship packages, including sponsorship amounts, speaking slots, booths, participation quotas, brand exposure, and related partnership content.
- Assist with MDF, Marketing Fund, Cloud Credit, SOW, and related partnership request/approval processes, including fund requests, ROI planning, documentation preparation, post-event reconciliation, and results reporting.
- Handle sponsor meetings, follow-ups, on-site event reception, and ongoing relationship maintenance, while working to develop one-time event partnerships into long-term or annual collaborations.
- Participate in relevant networking events, forums, conferences, and industry activities as needed to maintain partner relationships.
B. A3SEO Business Development & Client Management
- Take over potential clients acquired through the company's existing channels, partners, referrals, and exhibitions, and handle subsequent business communication and deal progression.
- Participate in relevant international exhibitions (not limited to SiGMA and SBC), following up on leads and partnership opportunities obtained on-site.
- Understand client needs, help prepare partnership plans, quotations, and proposals, and follow through on contracts, signing, and initial payment processes.
- Maintain existing client relationships and continue to pursue renewals, upsells, and other extended partnership opportunities.
- When technical or product-related issues arise, be responsible for consolidating client requirements and coordinating with internal teams such as Technical and Operations — the BD role is not required to independently resolve in-depth technical issues.
- Help advance other company projects, strategic partnerships, referrals, and API or channel partnership opportunities.
C. Opportunity Management & Internal Collaboration
- Fully record all clients, partners, and business opportunities in the CRM/BD Pipeline, continuously updating current stage, next steps, and expected timelines.
- Maintain complete records of meeting notes, negotiation details, quotations, partnership terms, and follow-up status for key clients and partners, ensuring business information is centrally managed by the company.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Marketing, Operations, Technical, and Finance to ensure partnership matters are advanced and executed smoothly.
- Regularly report key opportunities, partnership progress, risks, and pending decisions to management.
III. Position Requirements
- Strong business communication, negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and partnership projects simultaneously.
- Experience in Business Development, Account Management, Partnerships, Sales, or client relations preferred.
- Proficient in business English communication, able to hold meetings and conduct day-to-day communication with overseas clients and international partners.
- Proficient in spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin) ismandatory, for meetings, correspondence, and day-to-day communication with Chinese-speaking clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Basic business acumen, with the ability to understand client needs, partnership models, and business processes, and to proactively drive next steps.
- Familiarity with AI, Cloud, SEO, Digital Marketing, SaaS, or the tech industry is a plus.
- Willing and able to travel frequently, and based in Kuala Lumpur.
