Job summary

OneCredit is seeking a proactive Business Development Officer to grow our SME client base and strengthen relationships across Malaysia. You will identify new SME clients, present the platform to owners and decision makers, and work with marketing and product teams to boost market adoption.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in sales or business development, with a background in financial services or fintech being a plus.

Qualifications

2–5 years experience in sales or business development.
Experience selling to SMEs or corporate clients.
Background in financial services, fintech, insurance, banking, or SaaS is an advantage.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Self-driven, target-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset.
Ability to work independently and manage client relationships.
Chinese language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

Identify and acquire new SME clients across Malaysia
Present and demonstrate the OneCredit platform to business owners and decision makers
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
Understand customer pain points related to credit risk, payment collection and customer verification
Provide consultative solutions to help businesses reduce bad debts
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Work closely with the marketing and product team to improve market adoption
Provide market feedback and competitor insights

In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships while supporting business growth and client satisfaction. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and effectively communicate solutions that meet client needs.
