Hamilton Medical AG is seeking a Business Development Manager Asia Pacific to lead strategic marketing and sales efforts across APAC. The role involves cross-department collaboration, market analysis, and development of segment strategies and product launches.

You will establish a network of key opinion leaders, manage key accounts, and coordinate with Sales, Product Management, Marketing and R&D while traveling extensively across the region.

Qualificações

• Ten years+ experience in strategic marketing or sales of capital goods in medical technology or comparable roles.
• Experience working with international teams and customers in Asia Pacific.
• University degree in medical technology or economics with business administration/marketing exposure.
• Willingness to travel extensively and strong network with decision-makers.

Responsabilidades

• Design the marketing strategy for new APAC segments in cross-department collaboration.
• Create market, partner and competitor analyses to identify gaps and develop solutions.
• Develop and implement segment strategies and marketing concepts; plan product launches.
• Establish and maintain a network of key opinion leaders and key accounts across markets.

How you can make a difference :

• Design of the marketing strategy for the new business segments to be developed in cross-departmental cooperation
• Creation of market / partner and competitor analyzes and the identification of weak points with appropriate solution approaches
• Development and implementation of segment strategies and marketing concepts
• Planning and implementation of product launches
• Establishing and maintaining a network of key opinion leaders and lead users
• Establishment and maintenance of key accounts in various markets
• Recognizing and introducing market needs and technological trends
• Elaboration and recommendation for adapting the product portfolio
• Close cooperation with sales, product management, marketing and R&D
• Continuous monitoring of the achievement of targets
• Supervision and monitoring of projects, e.g. also cross-border sales opportunities
• Visits to customers and congresses
• Continuous market observation
• Identification of trends and requirements for the internal departments
• Participance in several national and international congresses, fairs and events
• Accept and utilize CRM tools to collate market intelligence, manage KOL networks and to facilitate team communication throughout the region

That’s what you bring along :

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in strategic marketing and / or sales of capital goods in medical technology with demonstrable success or comparable roles such as business development, product management, etc.
• Experience in working with international teams and customers within Asia Pacific region
• Completed university degree in medical technology or economics with a strong affinity for technology
• Further training or adequate practical experience in business administration and/or marketing
• Good industry and product knowledge, ideally in the area of ventilation, anesthesia or intensive care medicine
• Comprehensive network and good contacts to decision-makers, an authoritative and confident manner
• Strong analytical, strategic and organizational skills
• Market affinity and entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong team player and ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority, build networks
• High degree of initiative and enjoyment of a large degree of creative freedom
• Independent way of working with a focus on solutions and results
• Ready to travel extensively
• English spoken and written, other local languages an advantage
• Confident handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), other MS Office 365 applications an advantage
