Job summary

IEP Sdn Bhd, a main distributor for explosion‑proof electrical systems and related solutions, seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to grow enterprise accounts across Manufacturing and Infra across Malaysia. You will work with Application Engineers to expand the product portfolio and drive forecasting, planning and sales execution.

You should have a Bachelor's in Electrical/Power Engineering with 5+ years in corporate sales, proven relationship management, and strong market coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Power Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in corporate strategic sales and market development.
• Strong planning, forecasting and lead generation capabilities.
• Excellent English communication; Malaysian citizens preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business for explosion-proof electrical and cable solutions.
• Collaborate with Application Engineers to grow volume business.
• Expand product portfolio sales across industries in Malaysia.
• Manage corporate accounts and enterprise partnerships.
• Forecast, plan, and drive market penetration; generate sales leads.
• Deliver sales presentations and provide solution-oriented support.

Job description

To develop new business for the specific products solution - Explosion Proof Electrical, Multi Cable Transit, Hyperscale Datacenter Infrastructure, Passive Fire Seal, Manholes Water Seal, Flood Barrier System, Enclosures/Panels/Cabinets, Cable Fire Protection, Electrical Power Tools, Cable Solutions, Cable Support System, Clamp Fastening Solution, Lightning/Grounding, Structures/Grating/Environmental Protection.

To work closely with Application Engineers Team to develop volume business and identify business partner.

Expand product portfolio sales to exiting & industries been assigned i.e. (1) Manufacturing or (2) Infra Structures across all industries.

Corporate Business Development and managing enterprise customer accounts base.

Sales forecast, planning, follow up and market penetration.

Sales presentation and solution provider for the specific products range.

Sales & Marketing activities in generating more sales leads.

Good customer service for repeat sales & references.

Sales Account management and business partners management.

Sales Cold call.

Analytical & strategic sales approach.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree Engineering (Electrical/Power) or equivalent.

Required skill(s): Corporate Strategic Sales Cold Call, discipling, sales & marketing strategic planning, etc.

Preferred skill(s): Aggressive, Initiative, team player, high performer and good market coverage.

Required language(s): English.

At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferably Senior Executives/Manager specializing in Business Development - Engineering/Technical/IT or equivalent.

Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
