Job summary

PolicyStreet in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a proactive Sales/Business Development professional to identify and reach out to prospective clients who could benefit from our insurance solutions. You will build a robust pipeline via calls, emails, LinkedIn, events and referrals, qualify leads, and arrange meetings for senior team members to close.

The role requires 0–3 years in sales or client-facing roles, strong English communication, and resilience in pursuing leads.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role (fresh graduates with the right drive are welcome to apply)
• Comfortable with cold outreach, i.e. calls, emails, and DMs don't intimidate you
• Organised and disciplined about following up; you don’t let leads go cold

Responsibilities

• Identify and reach out to prospective clients (SMEs, corporates, and partners) who could benefit from our insurance solutions
• Build and manage a pipeline of leads through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, events, and referrals
• Qualify leads and set up meetings for senior sales team members to close
• Support the preparation of proposals, quotations, and pitch materials
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of leads and activity in our CRM
• Represent PolicyStreet at industry events, roadshows, and partner meetings when needed
• Hit monthly and quarterly targets for outreach activity and qualified meetings booked

• Resilient; you're fine with hearing \"no\" and moving on to the next conversation
