Job summary

Plassein Industry Sdn Bhd is seeking a dynamic Sales/Business Development professional to identify and develop new business opportunities in automotive, plastic injection moulding, and related industries.

You will conduct market analysis, benchmark competitors, and evaluate industry trends while building strong client relationships to ensure long-term sustainability. The role requires Mandarin/Cantonese proficiency and travel across Johor Bahru, Kuala Lumpur & Penang.

Qualifications

Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent.
2–4 years of B2B sales or manufacturing experience.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities within automotive, plastic injection moulding and related industries.
Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and industry trend evaluation.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term business sustainability.
Prepare quotations, proposals, and costing analysis in collaboration with Engineering and Production teams.
Participate in customer audits and ensure compliance with RBA and WCA requirements.
Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure successful project execution and delivery.

Qualification / Knowledge / Skills Requirements :-

Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in B2B sales or manufacturing industry.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Technical knowledge of plastic injection moulding is an added advantage.
Mandarin/Cantonese proficiency is essential as the role will communicate directly with Chinese-speaking clients, suppliers and management. Candidate must be able to speak, read and write Chinese confidently.
