Job summary

CompAsia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Business Analyst Intern in Malaysia to support business analysis activities, from gathering and documenting requirements to analysing processes and aiding business improvements. The ideal candidate is pursuing a related Bachelor's degree, possesses strong analytical and communication skills, and is proficient in Microsoft Excel.

You will work with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable requirements and assist in UAT and documentation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and structure business requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with business process mapping, requirements gathering, or data analysis is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements from stakeholders
• Support the preparation of business requirements, process flows, user stories, and other relevant documentation
• Analyse existing business processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
• Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear and actionable requirements
• Support data analysis and prepare reports or presentations to provide insights for business decision-making
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), including test case preparation, execution, and issue tracking
• Support ad-hoc business analysis and process improvement initiatives as required
