Job summary

Software International Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an IT Intern to gain hands-on exposure in software engineering and business analysis. The role combines coding, testing, and stakeholder collaboration to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions, with mentorship from experienced engineers.

You will work on real projects, write clean code, document requirements, and assist in UAT and performance improvements.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
Familiarity with web development frameworks or tools is a plus.
Understanding of databases (SQL, NoSQL).
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Basic knowledge of Agile/Scrum is an advantage.
Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining applications.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Support debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues.
Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices.
Collaborate with senior engineers on feature enhancements and bug fixes.
Work with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
Assist in translating business needs into functional and technical specifications.
Create user stories, process flows, and requirement documentation.
Support testing activities such as UAT.
Help analyze system performance and suggest improvements.
