Job summary

Oriental Kopi is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to promote merchandise, engage customers with product stories, and process transactions at Suria Sabah. You will help maintain appealing displays and support promotional campaigns while representing the brand with energy and hospitality.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, enjoy working in a fast-paced F&B retail environment, and are comfortable evenings and weekends for events.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in promotions, retail, or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident, energetic, and engaging personality.
• Passion for food, hospitality, and storytelling.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and during special events.
• Basic sales skills and familiarity with POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote restaurant-branded merchandise in-store and at events.
• Set up attractive merchandise displays and maintain them.
• Approach customers and share product benefits and usage tips.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle transactions when needed.
• Gather feedback and share insights with marketing and product teams.
• Support campaigns and social promotions with photo ops and user-generated content.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure items are tagged, stocked, and displayed.
• Represent the restaurant brand professionally at all times.
