Job summary

Oriental Kopi is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to promote merchandise, engage customers with product stories, and process transactions at Suria Sabah. You will help maintain appealing displays and support promotional campaigns while representing the brand with energy and hospitality.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, enjoy working in a fast-paced F&B retail environment, and are comfortable evenings and weekends for events.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in promotions, retail, or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident, energetic, and engaging personality.
• Passion for food, hospitality, and storytelling.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and during special events.
• Basic sales skills and familiarity with POS systems is a plus.

• Promote restaurant-branded merchandise in-store and at events.
• Set up attractive merchandise displays and maintain them.

Actively promote restaurant-branded merchandise to in-store guests and at off-site events/pop-ups.

Set up and maintain attractive merchandise displays in the restaurant and at promotional locations.

Approach customers and share product benefits, stories, and usage tips to encourage purchases.

Provide excellent customer service, answer product-related questions, and handle transactions when needed.

Gather customer feedback and share insights with the marketing and product development teams.

Support marketing campaigns and social promotions by encouraging photo ops and user-generated content.

Maintain inventory levels and ensure merchandise is properly tagged, stocked, and displayed.
