Job summary

Oriental Coffee International Sdn Bhd (Retail) seeks a dynamic merchandiser to actively promote restaurant-branded merchandise to in-store guests and at off-site events and pop-ups. You will set up and maintain attractive displays and engage customers with product benefits and usage tips.

You will deliver excellent service, handle transactions when needed, gather feedback, and support campaigns with photo opportunities and user-generated content.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in promotions, retail, or customer-facing roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident, energetic, and engaging personality.
• Passion for food, hospitality, and storytelling.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and during special events.
• Basic sales skills and familiarity with POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote restaurant-branded merchandise to in-store guests and at off-site events/pop-ups.
• Set up and maintain attractive merchandise displays in the restaurant and at promotional locations.
• Approach customers and share product benefits, stories, and usage tips to encourage purchases.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer product-related questions, and handle transactions when needed.
• Gather customer feedback and share insights with the marketing and product development teams.
• Support marketing campaigns and social promotions by encouraging photo ops and user-generated content.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure merchandise is properly tagged, stocked, and displayed.
• Represent the restaurant brand professionally at all times.
