Job summary

U Mobile Sdn Bhd is hiring a Branch Manager for a designated store in Malaysia. You will drive sales, manage staff, and ensure a positive customer experience. The role requires leadership to set targets, analyze trends, control budgets, and train teams to maintain high performance.

The position emphasizes delivering exceptional service, handling escalations, and maintaining operational standards, with shifts to cover operating hours. Relevant telecommunications experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree or commensurate industry experience.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant working experience in sales or customer service, preferably in telecommunications.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle customer complaints calmly and with solution orientation.
• Team player with ability to support colleagues to achieve branch goals.
• Proficiency in POS systems, CRM software, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Set daily/weekly sales targets for the team and ensure achievement.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and implement localized strategies.
• Manage store budgets and control expenses for profitability.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the store team (Assistant Store Managers, Sales Associates/Agents).
• Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
• Oversee onboarding and training of staff to maintain high performance standards.
• Ensure excellent customer service and resolve complaints to retain customers.
