Job summary

Yokogawa Malaysia invites a dynamic leader to manage a regional branch in Terengganu. You will oversee daily operations, drive sales and service strategies, and ensure ISO-compliant processes while coordinating with head office.

The role demands strong people leadership, effective communication, and a commitment to excellent customer service. Travel to client sites and vendor meetings is required as part of maintaining robust branch performance and growth.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering (any discipline).
• Strong leadership quality to manage the branch effectively.
• Experience in presenting to customers.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to perform under pressure.
• Integrity and trustworthiness to ensure compliance with ethics.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day branch operations in line with approved guidelines and budget.
• Coordinate with Head of PSBU & Head of LCS Head; provide monthly sales/service reports to Head Office.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies; identify opportunities and market penetration.
• Oversee budget planning and monitor expenditures and outcomes.
• Drive profitability and branch growth; attend to customer needs and manage inquiries effectively.
• Develop customer relations; collaborate with vendors and channel partners if any.
• Improve office administration, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Provide leadership and direction to sales and service staff to achieve profitability targets.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training needs for the team.
• Ensure processes comply with ISO 9001, ISO 4501, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and HR policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To manage branch’s day to day operations in accordance with company’s approved guidelines and processes, driving business result consistent with the budget and forecast.
• To work closely with Head of PSBU & Head of LCS Head. Provide monthly report to Head Office the sales and service activities in the Branch.
• To develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, identifying and securing potential business opportunities and market penetration.
• To coordinate budget planning and monitoring of expenditure and outcomes
• To be responsible for the overall profit growth and performance of the branch.
• To attend to customers’ needs and manage their enquiries effectively
• To develop customer relations, manage vendors, and work with appointed channel partners, if any.
• To improve the overall office administration efficiency, quality, and customer service standard.
• To provide leadership and directions to motivate team, namely sales and service staffs and ensure the branch achieves its profitability and growth objectives.
• To conduct regular performance reviews, identity training need, and ensure continuous development of the team.
• To ensure work processes or systems are compliant to ISO 9001, ISO 4501, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, Corporate Compliance Guidelines and HR Policies & Procedures as established by the Company.

Requirements:

• A Degree or Diploma in any discipline of Engineering
• Strong leadership quality in managing the branch effectively
• Experience in presentation to customers
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to perform under pressure.
• Integrity and trustworthiness to ensure full compliance with company ethics
• Strong believer of teamwork with skills of influencing
• Possess own transport and willing to travel
