Job summary

SummitNext Technologies Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced HR Lead to oversee end-to-end HR operations within a BPO and technology solutions setting. The role emphasizes visa/work permit processing and payroll coordination across a diverse workforce.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of HR experience, Mandarin fluency, strong communication, and hands-on payroll knowledge, with a solid understanding of Malaysian employment laws. A proactive, independent performer is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years HR experience, preferably in a BPO environment.
• Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Strong knowledge of visa and work permit processing in Malaysia.
• Hands-on experience in payroll processing.
• Basic accounting knowledge is an advantage.
• Familiar with Malaysian employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, and payroll processing.
• Support hiring needs across BPO operations, ensuring timely and quality manpower delivery.
• Handle payroll preparation, verification, and coordination, ensuring accuracy and timely salary disbursement.
• Manage visa, work permit, and employment pass processing for foreign employees.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws, company policies, and SOPs.
• Act as the point of contact for employees on HR-related matters.
• Coordinate with management on workforce planning and HR initiatives.
• Maintain accurate HR records, payroll data, and employee documentation.
• Support performance management, disciplinary processes, and employee engagement activities.
• Work closely with finance/accounts teams on payroll-related matters.
