Private Advertiser seeks an experienced Boutique Hotel Manager to oversee George Town's hotel operations and drive guest satisfaction, staff performance, and financial results. You will lead all departments, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a dynamic culture focused on service excellence.

The role demands 5+ years in hotel management, strong leadership, and fluency in English and Malay. You will optimize occupancy, revenue and brand reputation while maintaining high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive hotel management experience.
• Proven ability to manage budget, revenue and operational performance.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent communication with guests, staff and stakeholders at all levels.
• Fluency in English and Malay; additional languages are advantageous.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards in hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel operations across departments including front office, housekeeping, maintenance and admin.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize occupancy, revenue and profitability.
• Manage budget planning, financial forecasting and cost control.
• Recruit, train, supervise and motivate hotel staff to deliver service excellence.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards.
• Maintain high standards of guest service and address complaints promptly.
• Monitor property condition and coordinate maintenance/renovation projects as needed.
• Manage supplier, vendor and partner relationships to optimize service delivery.
• Implement quality assurance aligned with brand guidelines and guest expectations.
• Prepare and present regular reports on performance and KPIs to senior management.
• Lead marketing initiatives to boost hotel visibility and competitiveness.
• Manage crisis situations and ensure business continuity.
