Job summary

ELB Group in Malaysia seeks an experienced Boilerman to operate and maintain boilers in our Pasir Gudang facility. You will monitor boiler parameters and support steam supply for refining processes, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

LErequirements include a BOILER CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCY Grade 1/2 (DOSH Malaysia), minimum 3–5 years' experience in heavy industry, and minimum secondary education or equivalent. Preference for candidates with palm oil downstream or refinery background.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of boilerman experience in heavy industry.
• Boilerman Certificate of Competency, Grade 1 & 2 (DOSH Malaysia).
• Minimum secondary education or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boilers in accordance with DOSH requirements.
• Monitor boiler parameters (pressure, temperature, water level, fuel input, safety valves, etc.) to ensure safe operations.
• Perform daily inspection and preventive maintenance of boilers, burners, feedwater systems, pumps, and related utilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair boiler-related equipment breakdowns.
• Support smooth operation of steam supply for refining, fractionation, biodiesel, and effluent treatment processes.
