Job summary

VC Ventures Resources Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a Boilerman Grade 1 to oversee boiler operations in our manufacturing site, ensuring continuous steam supply for production.

You will operate, monitor, and control boiler systems, conduct daily inspections, and coordinate with external contractors for preventive maintenance. The role emphasizes safety and DOSH compliance, maintaining logs and documentation, and promptly addressing any unsafe conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in boiler operations within manufacturing.
• Must possess a valid Grade 1 Boilerman Certificate issued by DOSH.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and control boiler systems to ensure uninterrupted steam supply.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and minor repairs on boilers and steam lines.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance with external contractors and authorities.
• Maintain boiler operation logs and maintenance documentation.
• Report and rectify unsafe conditions promptly.

Job description

Boilerman Grade 1 - Key Responsibilities

Boiler Operations & Maintenance:

Operate, monitor, and control boiler systems to ensure an uninterrupted steam supply for production processes.

Conduct daily boiler inspections, including checks on pressure, temperature, water level, fuel consumption, and safety devices.

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on boilers, steam lines, and related equipment.

Coordinate scheduled preventive maintenance activities and annual inspections with external contractors and relevant authorities.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure full compliance with DOSH (JKKP) requirements, boiler certification requirements, and statutory inspections.

Maintain accurate boiler operation logs, inspection records, and maintenance documentation.

Immediately report and rectify any unsafe conditions, abnormalities, or incidents related to boiler operations.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in boiler operations within the manufacturing industry.

Must possess a valid Grade 1 Boilerman Certificate issued by DOSH.
