Job summary

PH World seeks a Boilerman to operate steam turbine and genset safely, monitor steam pressure and temperature, and ensure stable power generation at our Malaysia facility.

You will maintain logbooks, coordinate with boiler operators, report anomalies, and participate in startup/shutdown activities while adhering to safety procedures and pursuing professional development.

Qualifications

• Boiler license Grade 2 is required.
• Basic knowledge of turbine and power generation system.
• Able to work shifts and handle emergency situations.
• Safety-conscious and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Operate steam turbine and generator set safely and efficiently.
• Monitor turbine parameters such as steam pressure, temperature, vibration, and load.
• Synchronize generator with power supply when required.
• Monitor electrical load distribution and maintain stable power generation.
• Conduct routine inspection of turbine, gearbox, generator, and auxiliaries.
• Record operating parameters in logbook.
• Report any abnormal noise, vibration, or equipment malfunction.
• Assist in startup and shutdown of turbine and genset.
• Coordinate with boiler operator for steam supply requirement.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and DOSH requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of turbine and powerhouse area.
