Job summary

FE GREEN PET (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a skilled Boilerman to operate and monitor steam boilers, pressure vessels, and related equipment. You will maintain optimal pressure, water levels, and respond to emergencies.

You should have a Boilerman Grade 2 Certificate from DOSH Malaysia and 3–5 years of experience in boiler operation and maintenance. The role requires independence, safety-first mindset, and knowledge of water treatment and chemical dosing.

Qualifications

• Certification: Boilerman Grade 2 Certificate from DOSH Malaysia.
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of boiler operation and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of boiler operations, safety procedures, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Good knowledge of water treatment and boiler chemical dosing.
• Ability to work in high-temperature environments.
• Physically fit to handle manual tasks and equipment inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor steam boilers, pressure vessels, and related equipment.
• Maintain optimal pressure, temperature, and water levels in the boiler system.
• Monitor the system for leaks, malfunctions, or other operational issues.
• Control the flow of fuel, air, and water into the boiler for efficient operation.
• Perform regular maintenance, cleaning, and inspection of boilers and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, identify faults, and initiate corrective actions.
• Replace or repair components like valves, gaskets, and pipes as necessary.
• Ensure that safety valves, pressure gauges, and other instrumentation are functioning properly.
• Optimize fuel consumption and monitor water treatment processes to prevent scaling and corrosion.
• Maintain accurate records of boiler performance and maintenance logs.
• Prepare reports for management regarding operational status, maintenance, and potential improvements.
• Document any irregularities or incidents and follow proper reporting procedures.

Requirement

Certification: Boilerman Grade 2 Certificate from DOSH Malaysia.
