Job summary

Jora Malaysia is recruiting for a Boiler Operator to operate, monitor and maintain boiler systems ensuring safe, uninterrupted plant performance. The role requires a valid DOSH boiler competency, strong knowledge of boiler operations and safety practices, and the ability to work well within Operations and Maintenance teams to uphold safety and reliability.

You will perform routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to DOSH

Qualifications

• Valid Boilerman Certificate of Competency issued by DOSH Malaysia.
• Experience operating industrial boilers in manufacturing or similar plants.
• Strong knowledge of boiler operations, safety practices, and compliance.
• Positive attitude, teamwork, and commitment to a safe workplace.

Responsibilities

Operating, monitoring, and maintaining boiler systems to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations.

Performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, and first-line maintenance activities.

Ensuring compliance with DOSH regulations, company procedures, and HSE requirements.

Maintaining accurate operational records and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Working closely with Operations and Maintenance teams to optimise plant reliability and performance.

Requirements:

• A valid Boilerman Certificate of Competency issued by DOSH Malaysia.
• Relevant experience operating industrial boilers in a manufacturing, processing, tank terminal, or industrial plant environment.
• Strong knowledge of boiler operations, safety practices, and statutory compliance.
• A positive attitude, strong teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
