Job summary

IFE (International Facility Engineering) is seeking a BIM Drawings Specialist in Kulim, Malaysia. You will produce BIM drawings and M&E shop drawings, coordinate with engineers, and support project teams through drawing submissions and approvals.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree, have 8+ years in construction, and be proficient in AutoCAD, BIM, and Revit. Travel or relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in construction, including commercial buildings.
• Proficient in reading construction drawings (architectural, structural, electrical & mechanical).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM, and Revit software.

Responsibilities

• Produce BIM drawings/drafting documents for one or more services.
• Produce M&E shop-drawings according to requirements.
• Coordinate with professional staff on reviewing models and comments.
• Make changes in drawings per team comments.
• Check M&E drawings.
• Knowledge of Combined Services Drawings.
• Update shop-drawing list and support project team on shop-drawing submissions.
• Prepare BOM based on BIM.
• Liaise with Project Manager and Engineers on submissions and approvals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Produce BIM Drawings/Drafting documents for one or more services
• Produce M&E Shop-Drawings according to requirements
• Coordinating with professional staff on reviewing models and comments
• Make the necessary changes in drawing as per comments given by team members
• Checking of M&E Drawings
• Knowledge of Combined Services Drawings
• Update Shop-Drawing list Supporting Project Team on shop-drawing submission
• Able to prepare BOM base on BIM
• Liaise with Project Manager and Engineers on drawing submission and approval
• Others as assigned

Job / Skills Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Construction industry such as commercial building,
• Competent in reading / understanding construction drawings (architectural, structural, electrical & mechanical)
• Proficient in Autocad / BIM / Revit software etc.
• Good interpersonal & communication skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under tight project
• Willing to travel or relocate based on project requirements.
