Job summary

GAMUDA in Penang seeks a BIM Manager to lead BIM strategy and delivery across multiple projects, ensuring resources, timeliness, standards and client requirements are met.

You will supervise the production of detailed design models, coordinate data exchange, manage BEP updates, and drive RFIs, design changes and model integrity with project stakeholders for successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in AEC or related field.
• In-depth knowledge of BIM processes and industry standards.
• Possess BIM related licenses and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and resource planning to ensure the successful deliver of BIM deliverables.
• Manage day-to-day BIM implementations, operations and deliverables.
• Develop, review and update the BEP and related documents.
• Lead the overall production and delivery of the detailed design model, coordinated, simulation and as-built models.
• Establish processes and protocols for data exchange and user right access to maintain model integrity and validity.
• Communicate with project stakeholders to facilitate RFIs, design changes, and ensure that the model is updated based on the resolutions provided.
• Lead the overall information production and data extraction for design, procurement, construction team and other stakeholders.
• Produce BIM progress report on bi-weekly/monthly basis or as requested to identify and measure BIM implementation progress.
• To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the company.
• Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.
