Job summary

DEAXO SDN. BHD. is seeking a BIM Designer to lead development, implementation and compliance with BIM standards, create BIM content, and produce production documents for BIM projects.

You will work with the Engineering team during design to build the 3D models, 2D shop drawings, As‑Built and submittal drawings, and support in automating routine BIM operations while ensuring quality control.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in BIM technologies.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD; familiar with BIM standards.
• Experience in EPC/EPCM projects and knowledge of FIDIC contracts is an advantage.

Job description

Development, implementation and following the BIM standards;

Undertake BIM Architecture and documentation work;

To create BIM content and extracting production documents for delivering BIM projects;

Ensure models and drawings comply with project instructions, guideline and CAD and BIM standards;

Review and QA/QC project deliverables;

Prepare models for clash detection and analysis;

Working with Engineering team/ customer during design phase to build the 3D models, 2D Shop Drawings, As‑Built and submittal drawings;

Support in printing of the project documents and provision of the electronic data files from BIM systems;

Automation of the routine operations BIM to ensure the standards and increase of efficiency;

Provision of quality control for the prepared design documentation in terms of completeness and compliance with the company standards;

Support in development and approval of the regulations on BIM and standards for technological design processes in BIM;

Project support in terms of use of BIM technologies and following the company standards;

Participation in design work – modelling and detailing;

Participation in creation of the families and templates;

Participation in the project structure organization;

Creation of the Revit families by the request of a designer;

Check‑up whether the drawings formatting requirements;

Development of BIM process with: The planning of the company future considering the potential of BIM; Environmentally sensible design; Planning; 3D visualizing; Building management; Cost assessment; Specifications management; Integrated release of projects; Modules arrangement.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years of experience in BIM technologies, preferably in design and consultancy environments.

Proficient in Revit (Architecture, MEP, Structure) and AutoCAD.

Familiar with BIM standards, drawing documentation, and clash detection.

Experience in EPC / EPCM projects and knowledge of FIDIC contracts is an advantage.
