BIM Engineer

Job summary

Leighton Asia is seeking an experienced BIM/CAD Specialist to develop and maintain BIM models and CAD drawings for complex construction projects in Kuala Lumpur. You will generate high-quality models and shop drawings, and coordinate across stakeholders to resolve technical issues.

The role requires strong BIM coordination skills, BEP knowledge, and hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and Navisworks. Independent work and tight deadlines are common in this position.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including 5+ years of drafting and BIM/CAD-related experience.
• Strong knowledge of BIM modelling, BIM coordination, and BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Hands-on experience with Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, and other BIM applications.
• Experience producing Shop Drawings, Combined Services Drawings (CSD), and Installation Shop Drawings (ISD) from BIM models is highly preferred.
