Job summary

AECOM in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a CAD/BIM Drafter to support C&S projects using CAD and Revit. The role involves producing 2D/3D drawings, coordinating with BIM engineers, and ensuring timely submissions according to standards.

The candidate will work under the BIM Manager, maintain BIM records, and contribute to project presentations. This position is based in Malaysia and requires coordination across offices to deliver design packages.

Responsibilities

• Produce CAD and BIM Revit drawings for C&S works
• Meet deadlines set by Project Manager or BIM Manager
• Ensure accuracy and quality of production
• Prepare and update 3D BIM models for submissions
• Produce 2D drawings from BIM models per standards and schedule
• Maintain records: models, drawings, clash reports, RFIs, BIM register
• Support presentations with BIM models and related tasks
• Work under BIM Manager supervision
• Ensure timely production and amendments of engineering drawings
• Liaise with BIM engineers in other offices to coordinate delivery
• Produce both 2D and 3D drawings for various structures

Job Description

• Production of drawings on CAD and BIM Revit model for C&S works
• Working towards deadlines set by Project Manager or CAD/BIM Manager
• Responsible for the quality of production
• Prepare and update 3D BIM models for submissions.
• Participate in the production of 2D drawings from BIM models with accuracy ensuring drawings produced are according to the Office or the Client's Drafting Standards and Procedures, and the drawing submission schedule is achieved.
• Maintain proper records of all issued & received models/drawings, Clash Reports, RFIs, BIM Register in accordance with the company's ISO Standards and Procedures and ensure all the drawings are completed on schedule or in a timely manner.
• Support Project Team for Presentations with BIM-Model and related activities
• Work under the supervision of BIM Manager and perform work task assigned.
• Ensures timely Responsible for producing and amending engineering design drawings prepared by the Design Team and manage workload.
• Liaising with BIM engineers in other offices to help coordinate design delivery.
• Ability to produce all 2D and 3D design drawings information required for any type of structure wide range of tasks in support of the technical staff
