Job summary

Facade Today in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a BIM Modeler for our HQ in PJ. This full-time, on-site role focuses on creating and managing BIM models to support architectural, structural, and MEP designs.

You will develop and coordinate construction drawings, ensure adherence to project specifications, and maintain model accuracy to meet milestones. Collaboration with architects, engineers, and contractors is essential.

Job description

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site BIM Modeler role located in HQ (PJ). The BIM Modeler will be responsible for creating and managing Building Information Models (BIM) to support architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) designs. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and coordinating construction drawings, ensuring adherence to project specifications, collaborating with architects and engineers, and maintaining model accuracy to meet project milestones.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and experience in creating and managing BIM models
• Strong understanding of Architecture and MEP (Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing) systems
• Develop and maintain BIM models using software such as Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
• Prepare detailed 3D models, shop drawings, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate BIM models with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Perform clash detection and model coordination reviews.
• Ensure models comply with company BIM standards and project requirements.
• Update models based on design revisions and site changes.
• Generate schedules, quantities, and reports from BIM models.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors.
• Experience in construction or property development projects is an added advantage
