Job summary

Dynaciate Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a BIM Modeller to develop and maintain 3D BIM models from design drawings. You will prepare architectural drawings using BIM software and convert 2D concepts into detailed BIM models. You will coordinate with structural and M&E teams, review for accuracy, and update models per revisions. Fresh graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Building Technology, or a relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for architectural components based on drawings and project requirements.
• Prepare and update architectural drawings, layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and details using BIM software.

Job description

Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for architectural components based on design drawings and project requirements.

Prepare and update architectural drawings, layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and details using BIM software.

Convert design concepts and 2D drawings into detailed BIM models.

Ensure BIM models are accurate, coordinated, and updated according to the latest design revisions.

Coordinate architectural models with structural and M&E disciplines to identify and resolve clashes.

Assist in preparing construction drawings and documentation from BIM models.

Review architectural drawings and models for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.

Incorporate design changes and revisions into BIM models as instructed.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and project teams on BIM-related matters.

Assist with BIM documentation, model submissions, and project deliverables.

Maintain proper file management, drawing revisions, and BIM model records.

Perform other BIM and drafting-related duties assigned by the management.

Academic Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Building Technology, or a relevant discipline.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Candidates with relevant BIM training or certification will have an added advantage.

Skills & Experience

Basic to good knowledge of BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit.

Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.

Familiarity with architectural drawings, modelling, building components, and construction documentation.

Basic understanding of BIM coordination and model management.

Good understanding of architectural design and construction processes.

Good attention to detail and accuracy in modelling and drawings.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Willingness to learn new BIM technologies and software.

Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary project team.

Fresh graduates with academic/project experience in Revit or BIM are welcome.

Candidates with 1–3 years of BIM modelling experience will have an added advantage.
