Job summary

DP Architects in Malaysia is seeking a BIM Manager to lead BIM projects, coordinate data exchange with consultants and contractors, and develop BIM standards and content libraries.

You will conduct in-house BIM training, promote advanced BIM methodologies for integrated practice, provide internal BIM consultancy, and oversee BIM Execution Plans, SOPs and workflows while ensuring QA/QC of BIM models.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of lead BIM project experience
• Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks and Dynamo
• Degree in Architecture/Structure/Mechanical or equivalent with 5+ years BIM experience
• Parametric design tools proficiency advantageous

Job description

• Manage process of exchange, collaboration and coordination of BIM data with consultants, contractors and other stakeholders;
• Manage and develop BIM protocol, standards and content (library);
• Conduct in-house BIM training;
• Manage processes, implementation, best practices and techniques of BIM and related tools;
• Actively promote advanced and innovative BIM-based methodologies towards integrated practice;
• Provide internal BIM consultancy for projects within the firm;
• Creates & manages Project BIM Execution Plan, Projects SOPs and BIM Implementation Plan;
• Established and assist project teams in documentation process and workflows;
• Chair/ lead BIM coordination and clash detection meetings;
• Monitor and ensure quality control and quality assurance between BIM Models.

Requirement:

• At least 3 years of experience working in lead position on BIM projects for BIM Manager position
• Excellent knowledge and experience in Autodesk Building Design Suite software including Revit, Navisworks and Dynamo
• Degree in Architecture/Structure/Mechanical or its equivalent with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in BIM
• Proficiency in parametric design tools is an advantage
