Job summary

Kayangan Kemas Sdn Bhd seeks an Electrical BIM Modeler to develop and manage detailed 3D BIM models for electrical systems using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. Translate concepts into accurate models and support project delivery.

You will collaborate with engineers, perform clash detection, coordinate across disciplines, and maintain models through the project lifecycle, including onsite support when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with BIM modeling for electrical systems is essential.
• Proficiency in coordinating with multiple disciplines and ensuring model accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and manage detailed 3D BIM models for electrical systems using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers and designers to translate design concepts into accurate BIM models.
• Perform clash detection and assist in resolving coordination issues between electrical and other disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP).
• Ensure all BIM models comply with company standards, project requirements, and industry best practices.
• Review and coordinate electrical designs with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Maintain and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle to reflect design changes and site conditions.
• Assist in preparing electrical drawings, documentation, and project deliverables
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior modelers when required.
• Support coordination meetings and contribute to effective project delivery.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a BIM Modeler (Electrical) with strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, codes, and industry standards.
• Experience in clash detection, coordination, and issue resolution within BIM environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
• High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Experience in Data Centre projects is an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel and provide onsite support when required.
