Job summary

iCloud Systems Sdn Bhd seeks a BIM/VDC Specialist to oversee digital construction models, coordinate interdisciplinary designs, and manage the CDE for clash detection and design alignment on construction projects.

The role requires coordinating architectural, structural, and MEP models, enforcing BIM standards, and supporting project teams with BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction management.
• Experience: 3+ years in the AEC industry.

Responsibilities

• Model Coordination & Clash Detection: Integrate architectural, structural, and MEP models and run clash reports to resolve interferences.
• Quality Assurance & Standards: Enforce BIM standards, naming conventions, and file organization; perform QC on design models.
• Data Management: Manage the CDE and ensure BIM submissions are accurate.
• Process Facilitation: Lead design review and clash resolution meetings with project teams.
• Technical Support: Support project teams with BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).

Act as the central technical hub for BIM/VDC processes, managing models through the Common Data Environment (CDE) to identify and resolve design conflicts during construction.

Responsibilities

• Model Coordination & Clash Detection:Integrate architectural, structural, and MEP models, running clash detection reports to identify and resolve interferences.
• Quality Assurance & Standards:Enforce BIM standards, naming conventions, and file organization protocols. Perform QC on design models.
• Data Management:Manage the CDE and ensure accuracy of BIM submissions.
• Process Facilitation:Conduct design review and clash resolution meetings with project teams.
• Technical Support:Support project teams with BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).

Skills
