Job summary

JCB BIMS SDN BHD invites a skilled BIM Coordinator to support our project team in Malaysia. The role focuses on managing Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes throughout the project lifecycle and maintaining BIM data integrity.

You will coordinate BIM models for electrical, perform clash detection using Revit and Navisworks, and provide technical guidance to project teams to keep milestones on track and standards high.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Electrical or related fields.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in BIM coordination or BIM modelling.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM tools.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, building systems, and coordination processes.
• Experience in clash detection, model auditing, and multidisciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with Malaysian BIM standards (e.g., MyBIM) and international guidelines (ISO 19650 is an advantage).
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with CDE platforms such as BIM 360, ACC, Glodon, or Dalux is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and meet project timelines.
