Job summary

Michael Page in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Billing Team Lead to supervise daily billing operations, ensure accurate invoicing, and drive process improvements. You will monitor discrepancies, prepare reports, and support month-end close, mentoring the team to hit targets.

Qualifications

A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of billing processes and financial systems within Shared Services (MUST HAVE).
Strong leadership experience of at least 2 years (MUST HAVE).
Proficiency in using accounting and billing software.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Good communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage the daily operations of the billing team.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and billing documents.
Monitor and resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with relevant departments.
Implement and maintain billing procedures and policies to ensure compliance.
Generate billing reports and provide insights to support financial decision-making.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to billing.
Train, mentor, and support team members to achieve performance targets.
Collaborate with other teams to improve workflow and efficiency in billing processes.
