Job summary

Tiong Nam Logistics Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a Billing Officer to manage the end-to-end billing process for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

You will handle invoice generation, reconciling accounts, and serving as the main point of contact for billing inquiries, while coordinating with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Accounting/Finance/Business Admin.
• 1–2 years in billing, invoicing, accounts administration, or logistics operations.
• Experience in haulage/logistics advantageous.
• Basic invoicing and accounts receivable knowledge.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Job description

Verify billing data, generate and distribute accurate invoices to clients based on provided services

Ensure the billing process is in compliance with company policies, billing regulations, and legal requirements.

Serve as the primary point of contact for billing-related inquiries from clients, and address client concerns or complaints regarding billing discrepancies or issues.

Resolve any discrepancies or errors promptly and maintain detailed records of all billing transactions and client accounts.

Assist in preparing billing summaries, reports, and other documentation required by the Finance Department.

Qualifications:

Minimum Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferably 1–2 years of experience in billing, invoicing, accounts administration, or logistics operations.

Experience in the haulage, transportation, freight forwarding, or logistics industry will be an advantage.

Basic knowledge of invoicing procedures and accounts receivable processes.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

Good attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organisational skills.

Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with internal departments and customers.

Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple billing tasks.
