Job summary

Tiong Nam Logistics Solutions Sdn Bhd is hiring an accountant to manage full set accounts, perform bank reconciliations, and handle AR/AP processes. The role requires accuracy, independence, and teamwork to ensure timely monthly closings.

You will also prepare journal entries, manage payments, and liaise with auditors and bankers to ensure compliance and smooth financial operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ACCA/CAT graduates or candidates welcome with relevant experience.
• Strong Bahasa Malaysia and English communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set accounts and prepare monthly audit schedules.
• Perform bank reconciliation and monitor daily bank transactions.
• Review AR & AP transactions.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and GL reconciliations.
• Prepare and process payments.

• Handling and review AR & AP transaction.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliation general ledger.
• Prepare and process payments.
• Liaise with external auditor, bankers or other authorities.

Requirements

• Diploma, Degree, ACCA, or CAT in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Candidates with relevant working experience will have an added advantage.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Responsible, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Positive attitude and willing to learn.
