Job summary

Malamin Sdn Bhd in Kedah's Sintok area seeks a proactive Plant Supervisor to lead daily beneficiation operations and ensure production targets are met. You will supervise workers on a 6/1 roster with 12-hour shifts, coordinate shift assignments, monitor equipment, and report to management.

Supervise and coordinate daily beneficiation plant operations.

Monitor ore processing activities to ensure production targets and operational efficiency are achieved.

Oversee plant workers and ensure proper work allocation and shift management.

Monitor plant machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operations.

Identify operational issues and coordinate troubleshooting and corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and company policies.

Prepare production reports and report operational updates to management.

Requirements

Previous experience in a supervisory role in a processing plant, mining, or related industry is preferred.

Experience in ore beneficiation and mineral processing will be an added advantage.

Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Able to supervise workers and manage daily plant operations.

Willing to work on a rotating day and night shift schedule.

Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently.

Proven experience in managing and supervising foreign workers, including work allocation, attendance monitoring, discipline, and daily workforce coordination.

Able to communicate effectively with a multicultural workforce and manage workers from different nationalities.

Working Schedule

6 days on / 1 day off (6/1) roster.

12-hour shift arrangement, including a 1-hour meal break.

Day Shift: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM.

Night Shift: 9:00 PM - 9:00 AM.

Rotating day and night shifts based on operational requirements.

Rest day scheduled according to the plant's operational roster.
