Job summary

Nstarts Consultants Company Limited is seeking a Production Supervisor in Penang who will lead the shift team, organize production tasks, and ensure daily operations run smoothly. The role requires effective English communication, MS Office proficiency, and a Diploma or higher qualification.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years in a production supervisory role and be willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including day and night shifts, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above preferred.
• At least two years of experience in a production supervisory role.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift team to achieve production targets and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Organize, prioritize and monitor production tasks, allocating resources to resolve issues and escalating when necessary.
• Prepare and complete all required reports before the end of each shift.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and serve as the Production Emergency Response Team (ERT) Lead for the assigned shift.
• Plan and deliver operator training based on production needs.
• Monitor production stations and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Provide guidance and counseling to operators when required, and report violations of company rules or procedures.
• Maintain effective communication between employees and management to ensure policies and procedures are clearly understood.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
