Job description

We are seeking a proactive Production Supervisor (Executive) to oversee daily shop-floor operations, drive efficiency, and ensure strict compliance with international manufacturing standards. Job Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Execution: Execute and track daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for assigned workshops (Graphite / Pelletizing / Preprocessing). Coordinate shop-floor resources and resolve operational bottlenecks to ensure capacity and delivery targets are met on time.

Manpower Allocation & Shift Management: Allocate production personnel based on workstation manning requirements, manage shift scheduling, and optimize shop-floor workflow to maximize production efficiency.

Process & Quality Control: Exercise strict control over end-to-end production processes across assigned workshops, monitoring critical process parameters (temperature, mixing, pelletizing, and raw material preparation). Inspect product output, analyze root causes of defects, and lead immediate corrective actions to reduce yield loss and boost first-pass yield.

Operations Discipline & SOP Enforcement: Enforce strict adherence to shop-floor discipline, standard operating procedures (SOP), process parameter controls, and safety protocols to ensure product consistency and a safe working environment.

Data Monitoring & Anomaly Handling: Monitor daily operational data, throughput, yield rates, and energy consumption. Promptly report process anomalies, resolve line issues on the floor, and elevate critical technical matters to management immediately.

Team Leadership & Development: Conduct performance appraisals and targeted operational training for team leaders and operators to elevate overall managerial and execution capabilities. Maintain team discipline and foster positive employee relations.

Safety Training & Audits: Conduct regular safety briefings and education for line personnel. Assist in shop-floor safety inspections, identify potential hazards, drive closed-loop corrective actions, and track closure effectiveness to prevent workplace accidents.

System Compliance & Standard Control: Maintain systematic control over operational processes and factory assets in compliance with the relevant clauses of ISO 9001 / 14001 / 18001 / 45001 / 22301 / 14064 / 14067 / 27001 / 50001, Integration of Informatization and Industrialization Management System, and IATF 16949 / VDA 6.3, promptly improve and prevent any non-conformities.

CAPA & Continuous Improvement: Formulate and execute Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) addressing process deficiencies highlighted by quality systems, internal/external audits, and customer feedback.

Cross-departmental Coordination: Liaise effectively with Quality, Equipment, PMC, and HQ technical teams in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Melayu to report daily data, sync equipment maintenance status, and facilitate swift problem-solving.

Ad-Hoc Duties: Complete other duties and operational tasks assigned by company leadership and department management.

Job Requirements:

Education: Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Material Science), Manufacturing, or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of production experience in negative electrode/anode manufacturing, chemical processing, or heavy manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Exposure to graphite processing, pelletizing, or material preprocessing is highly advantageous.

Language Requirement: Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Melayu is required to communicate effectively with Chinese expatriates, technical teams, and local production personnel.

Technical & System Knowledge: Sound knowledge of shop-floor management, 5S standards, safety regulations, and ISO/IATF systems.
