FCM Meetings & Events in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking a Business Development Manager for Meetings & Events to drive new MICE business, expand client bases across SEA, and build lasting relationships with decision-makers.

You will lead growth through strategic account plans, compelling pitches, and effective pipeline management, with uncapped earning potential and opportunities for top performers to advance within the organization.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years' experience in MICE sales and client management.
• Proven track record of exceeding targets and executing winning sales strategies.
• Strong product knowledge on destinations and MICE group operations.
• Confident presenter who can engage audiences and influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Smash your sales targets and exceed revenue goals consistently.
• Build and execute strategic account plans to win new MICE business and expand your portfolio.
• Hunt for new business using cold-calling, networking, and creative prospecting methods.
• Deliver standout sales presentations using a Challenger sales approach — passionate, confident, and compelling.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and follow the sales process with rigor.
• Maximize upselling opportunities by proposing additional events and activities that complement client needs.
• Forecast projected sales revenue and manage your personal portfolio of Corporate & MICE accounts.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Product, and HR teams to resolve client matters.
