Job summary

BR Metals, a leading Precious Metal Recovery Specialist, invites applications for a Business Development Executive (Catalytic Converter) to drive sourcing of catalytic converters and precious metals across Malaysia, with Johor focus. Role is full-time, five days, with base salary RM 4,000–RM 6,500 plus commission.

Develop and source materials from scrapyards, electronics and manufacturing sectors; assess profitability, prepare proposals, and nurture long-term partnerships while maintaining CRM

Qualifications

• Experience in Business Development, Industrial Sales, Automotive, Automotive Workshop, Recycling or related industries.
• Experience in Business Development, Electronics, Semiconductor, Aerospace, Manufacturing or related industries.
• Must have basic buy-sell and profit margin concepts and be able to judge profitability of recycling deals.
• Energetic and willing to engage in field-based activities.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and networking skills.
• Willing to travel. Valid driving license.
• Able to work independently and effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Able to communicate in EngIish, BM and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Source materials of catalytic converters (used exhaust pipe) across scrapyards, automotive workshops and other relevant recycling channels; OR
• Develop and source B2B precious-metal materials (PGM / Gold / Silver / other precious metal), primarily from electronics, semiconductor, aerospace, manufacturing and industrial
• Evaluate purchase prices and transaction feasibility by assessing material value, market pricing and related costs to ensure transactions meet profitability targets.
• Prepare proposals, commercial proposals and contracts tailored to customer needs.
• Monitor market trends and stay updated on pricing and demand shifts in precious metals.
• Analyse customer requirements to identify commercially viable opportunities.
• Develop key accounts and build long-term strategic business partnerships.
• Maintain CRM records and manage the business development pipeline effectively.
• Any additional tasks assigned.
