Job summary

Heng Hup Metal Sdn Bhd is seeking a Marketing Executive to manage ferrous scrap metal purchases and drive growth across existing and new accounts in Malaysia. You will visit clients, gather market intelligence, and maintain sourcing and purchasing records while coordinating timely deliveries.

The role requires Mandarin-language proficiency for effective client communication, travel to outstation sites when needed, and a willingness to develop supplier relationships in a fast-paced trading

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in Mandarin preferred for client communication.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for purchases of ferrous scrap metal based on pricing/specification/quality standards.
• Develop business growth of existing accounts (scrap metal generators) and prospect new potential accounts in the region.
• Visit clients regularly and gather market intelligence on industry activities.
• Maintain records of all buying/sourcing and prospecting activities including closed sales and follow-ups.
• Identify and source ferrous scrap metal from factories, manufacturers, contractors and other sources.
• Be involved in supplier development, price negotiation, market intelligence and business growth.
