Job summary

BR Metals, a leading recycling specialist for Platinum Group Metals (PGM) in Asia, seeks a Business Development Executive in Malaysia to connect with customers and source precious metal-bearing scrap while expanding into new markets.

You will drive supplier and client growth across Malaysia and the region, maintain CRM data, and work towards revenue targets while complying with company policies. Travel and field-based engagement are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Able to converse basic English.
• Energetic and field-based.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and networking skills.
• Willing to travel and hold a valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth of the precious metal scrap volume by identifying, targeting and acquiring new suppliers and business clients across Malaysia and the region.
• Establish rapport with customers/suppliers to build long-term relationships.
• Maintain latest accurate information of customers and/or suppliers in the CRM system.
• Analyze purchasing with cost efficiency to ensure profitable business dealings.
• Achieve revenue and profit targets within the given timeframe while complying with company policies.
