Job summary

Pullman Kuching is seeking a Bartender to prepare and serve beverages to guests, ensuring high quality and attentive service in a hotel bar environment.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years' experience, knowledge of cocktails, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Local Sarawakian candidates are preferred; shifts, weekends and public holidays are expected.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Bartender experience in hotel, restaurant or bar.
• Knowledge of cocktails, beverages and basic bartending techniques.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Positive, friendly and service-oriented attitude.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and be a team player.
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Malaysian candidates preferred, Sarawakian locals encouraged.

Job Summary

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests while ensuring excellent service, product quality and a clean and well-organised bar area.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Provide friendly and professional service to guests.
• Ensure drinks are prepared consistently and presented according to hotel standards.
• Take beverage orders accurately and attend to guest requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and service areas.
• Ensure sufficient mise en place, garnishes, glassware and bar supplies are available.
• Monitor beverage stock and assist with inventory and stock-taking.
• Follow proper procedures for opening and closing the bar.
• Handle cash and billing transactions accurately when required.
• Minimise wastage and breakage and ensure proper portion control.
• Comply with food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards.
• Maintain good knowledge of the beverage menu and assist guests with recommendations.
• Support the team during events, functions and busy service periods.
• Ensure compliance with hotel and Accor standards, policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the F&B Management.
