Job summary

Zuspresso (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a customer-focused cafe assistant in Penang. You will prepare and serve drinks, greet customers, describe menu items, and make product recommendations to enhance the customer experience.

You’ll also handle payments, keep the workspace clean, and ensure consistent service quality. Training is provided for non-barista applicants, and bilingual communication is a plus.

Qualifications

• Vaccinated with at least 2 doses.
• Secondary School/SPM certificate in any field.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good interpersonal skills, energetic and willing to learn.
• Own transport preferred.
• Non-barista experience welcome as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks per recipe and presentation standard.
• Clean and sanitize work and seating areas, utensils and equipment.
• Responsible for stock arrangement.
• Greet and connect with every customer.
• Describe menu items and recommend products to customers.
• Receive and process customer payments.
• Ensure high quality of service.
